From March to December 2010, Elsevier will run a physician development partner (DP) program. We are inviting selected practicing physicians to a rare opportunity to collaborate with our designers, editorial, marketing and technical development teams on features that are important and necessary to them in the practice of medicine.
We are asking for your thoughts, input and feedback on various new features and possibilities that we plan to build in the coming months with a focus to increasing the efficiency of medical practice in the hospital setting. You will act as collaborators with our development team, and will pilot new content, features and functionality that we make available online. We have the exciting challenge of building the next generation in clinical reference tools with timely and relevant information. With your help, we hope to understand:
- What kind of online medical information-tools do you need to aid the work you do in hospitals?
- What should these information-tools do? What should they look like?
- How can we make sure that it is user-friendly, intuitive and absolutely best in class?
- What new and exciting developments could we test online?
- How can we make sure it helps you access and evaluate practice-changing information, make better-informed clinical decisions and improve efficiency in the hospital and outcomes?
